Our Custom Decorating Department offers customers one-on-one interior design consultations, allowing our decorating professionals to customize our home merchandise to fit customers’ needs.
As a JCPenney Decorator Consultant, you have the opportunity to inspire customers with the latest trends in interior design that reflects both their lifestyles and budgets. Responsibilities include:
- Working inside the studio assisting customers and generating sales contracts,
- Making in-home visits to show samples, discuss ideas and help customers choose home décor, and
- Participating in home shows where you can network with potential clients and increase your customer base.
Along with one of the largest fabrication facilities in the industry, we offer our decorating professionals modern studios and workrooms, state-of-the-art equipment, samples and supplies, and one of the highest commission rates in the industry. We also provide world-class training with a program that covers everything from product information to sales procedures, all geared towards making you an expert at helping our customers make their homes the place they love best. You will also receive ongoing training through videos and live internal broadcasts to keep you informed of the latest trends in home fashions and products.
