Store Manager
Store Managers are responsible for the overall performance of a JCPenney store – one of more than 1,000 stores across the nation. As "CEO" of your store, you will be challenged with:
- Achieving store sales and profit objectives.
- Inspiring customers and maximizing customer loyalty.
- Ensuring the store is staffed with qualified, motivated and engaged Associates, and developing them to their maximum potential through coaching and training.
- Managing the visual presentations to create an easy and exciting shopping environment for customers.
- Evaluating and analyzing store results against forecasts as well as recognizing and quantifying local market trends.
If you have a minimum of six years of experience in retail management, a solid understanding of the elements that drive retail profitability, in-depth knowledge of retail operations, human resources and specific store capabilities and growth potential, along with knowledge of merchandise presentation and superior customer service skills, apply for a Store Manager position. College degree preferred.
